Friendswood High School Cheerleaders Raise Money for American Cancer Society

The Friendswood High School Cheerleaders donated nearly $2,500 to the American Cancer Society, the official sponsor of birthdays.

The American Cancer Society encourages volunteerism from giving a cancer patient a ride to their doctor, participating in Relay for Life, or organizing a fundraiser. The cheerleaders collected money for the American Cancer Society by selling 500 t-shirts with the logo “I Cheer” on the front.

The Friendswood High School cheerleaders showed their spirit! They also demonstrated their compassion and team work through their charitable efforts. For more information on getting involved with the American Caner Society visit their homepage.
